特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • Annuals; culm geniculate at base, 20-40 cm tall.
  • Blade glabrous, 2-3 mm wide; sheath loose, ciliate on margins; ligule short, membranaceous, ca. 1 mm long, with a ciliated apex.
  • Panicle spreading, reddish, ovoid, less than 9 cm long, branches capillary. Spikelets lanceolate, acute, ca. 1.7 mm long, glabrous; lower glume acute, more than 1/2 as long as spikelet, 3-veined; upper glume and lower lemma equal in length, 5-veined; upper lemma shorter than spikelet, ca. 1.2 mm long, greyish, obtuse, shiny, coriaceous.

分布

  • 台灣 : at low elevation in tea plantations, dry fields and open waste places.
  • 世界 : Tropical Africa, Madagascar, India, Sri Lanka, Indochina, Malesia and southern China.
